  • St. Andrews is a Biblically faithful church which celebrates the Lord's Table every Sunday.

It is presently what some might call a "micro-parish" of 15 people or so. They are very welcoming. Like much of the very early church, they are in home-church status at the time of this review, so call ahead to find out where they are meeting (probably the pastor's home). This combination of home-church and liturgical, biblical, Spirit-filled, evangelical, sacramental worship is probably the closest thing you will find to the worship of the early church.

I have visited on numerous occassions with my family. Families with small kids are welcome (bring a coloring book perhaps, the kids stay with parents through the service), and actually, my young kids have paid attention more than I expected and got a lot out of watching and listening to the liturgy (I thought they were just coloring, but apparently they were paying attention in their own way).

The pastor, Fr. David, is centered on the Lord Jesus Christ being the way, the truth, and the life; and the Bible being the faithful word of God as inspired by the Holy Spirit, and his sermons reflect this.

St. Andrews is a member of ACNA (Anglican Church in North America), which united over 100,000 Anglicans in America who left the sadly unbiblical Episcopal church. St. Andrews is under the Diocese of San Joaquin, which holds a traditional and Biblical position on ordination.
